• Objective
Change Management is an IT Service Management discipline. The objective of Change Management in this context is to ensure to control the lifecycle of all changes. The primary objective of change management is to enable beneficial changes to be made, with minimum disruption to IT services. Standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes, in order to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon service quality, and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations of the organization.
• Implementation
The BIMIXS change request casetype follows the recommendations of the ITIL V3 change request process specifications defined by ITIL V3 in the section service transition, change management. The process is implemeted as a casetype, including all of the relevant forms, rules and roles. Create a case, select the casetype "Change Request ITIL" and start working with your co-workers.
• Customize the Standard Implementation, without the need for programming
When you want to create your own implemetation, you can download the casebook of the App "Change Management" from the apps marketplace. Adapt the definitions to your needs, add your own fields and rules or just change the entries in the dropdowns and upload it again. Your definitions will be parsed and your new Casetype will be generated immediately. Now you can create a case, select your casetype and start testing the case with your team. You have left seven days for free testing. After seven days the casetype will be removed - unless you activate your newly created casetype.
